2021 Gotland × Suffolk Fleece from Barnaby & Burt (Washed)
Note: this is not a pure breed fleece (see description below).
Description
Silky soft white fleece with strong tips and a wonderful sheen. I have soaked it overnight in cold water to remove the 'aroma of daily life'! Some dark tips and lanolin but these will wash out. Leaving in the small amount of natural grease for you to work with straight from the lock. It is has a slight crimp and is finer than pure Gotland. This fleece will create a garment with the most incredible drape and softness.
Carefully sorted to remove second cuts and debris.
Each 700g bag will be a mixture of the textures found in their fleeces.

A little VM. Tiny bits of hay may remain that will fall out with further processing.
Notes
The natural fly repellent I use is based on essential oils and seems to attract the dirt, any grey areas are not stained, they will easily wash out with hot, soapy water. The fluffy photo shows it after a hot wash.
